Pick Me Ups

2 min read

At MedCare Nigeria, we believe that empowerment does not always begin with something big. Sometimes, it starts with a simple reminder that a woman is seen, valued, appreciated, and worthy of care.

In partnership with Vee-Jay Holdings and the Women’s Entrepreneurial Group of Nigeria (W.E.G.N.), we are proud to support the “Pick Me Ups” initiative, a community-centered outreach created to encourage and uplift women in Narayi and its surrounding communities in Kaduna State.

As part of this initiative, 10 women in Narayi and its environs will receive perfumes, lip balms, and deodorants worth ₦6,000 each. These items may seem small, but the message behind them is powerful: every woman deserves to feel good, confident, and supported.

The outreach is being coordinated by Kezytach Perfume Enterprise, a proud member of the W.E.G.N. family, whose commitment to supporting and empowering women continues to make a positive impact in the community.

Event Details

Date: 30/07/25

Time: 4:30 PM

Venue: Wakili Street, adjacent to Flourish School, Narayi, Kaduna State

Women who live in Narayi or nearby communities are encouraged to indicate their interest, and ten beneficiaries will be selected for this special empowerment package.

This initiative is more than a giveaway. It is a reminder that women carry enormous responsibilities every day as mothers, caregivers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community builders. Yet many women rarely receive moments of encouragement or personal care. Through Pick Me Ups for Purpose, we are creating a moment of dignity, confidence, and connection.

At MedCare Nigeria and Vee-Jay Holdings, our vision is to build healthier, stronger, and more empowered communities through practical acts of compassion and support. We believe that when women are encouraged, families become stronger, businesses grow, and communities thrive.

We sincerely appreciate our sponsors, MedCare Nigeria and Vee-Jay Holdings, for making this initiative possible and for their continued commitment to empowering women and strengthening our communities.

To every woman in Narayi reading this, remember:

You are strong.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

And together, we will continue to rise, support one another, and create lasting impact in our communities.
